Biography
Nusrat Faria Mazhar is a Bangladeshi film actress, model, television presenter and radio jockey. She works in Bangladeshi and Indian Bengali movies. She established herself as one of the leading and commercial successful actress of Bangladesh. She has received Meril Proghom Alo Awards for the Film Ashiqui in 2015.Nusrat Faria was born on 8 September 1993 in Chittagong, Bangladesh to Majharul Islam and Ferdousi Begum. She lives in Dhaka cantonment area as her elder brother is an army officer. She completed SSC from Shaheed Bir Uttam Lt Anwar Girls’ School & College in 2010 and completed HSC from RAJUK Uttara Model College in 2012. Then she admitted to the Independent University of Bangladesh and achieved BBA degree from the University. Nusrat Faria was concerned about showbiz arena from her early life; thereby she participated in various cultural and debating programs.
Nusrat Faria started her career as a debater participating in BTV debate show. She started her showbiz career as a model in several television commercials. She was made her film debut in Indian Bengali movie Aashiqui in 2015 alongside with co-actor Ankush Hazra. She has acted many popular movies such as Hero 420, Badsha: The Don with actor Jeet, Premi O Premi with Arfin Shuvoo, Dhat Teri Ki and Boss 2: Back to Rule. She also appears on Radio Foorti program night Shift with Nusrat Faria and Love Buds.
