Qasem Soleimani is a powerful military officer who was an Iranian major general. He died in the American Air attack on January 2, 2020. Soleimani was the major general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a branch of the Iranian Armed Forces until his death. In addition, he was the commander of its Quds Force. His death draws huge media attention across the world.

Qasem Soleimani  Early Life and Education:

Qasem Soleimani was born on March 11, 1957, in Qanat-e Malek, Kerman, Iran to parents Hassan Soleimani and Fatemeh Soleimani. He was born in an impoverished family and passed a humble early life. His father was a farmer died in 2017.

He moved to Kerman and started doing a job as a construction worker to help repay a debt his father owed. Then he started working as a contractor for the Kerman Water Organization. But we cant not find details information about his educational qualification.

Qasem Soleimani Career:

Qasem Soleimani kicked off the military journey at the beginning of the Iran–Iraq War of the 1980s. Then he commanded the 41st Division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He had made extraterritorial operations where he provides military help to anti-Saddam Shia and Kurdish groups in Iraq. Later he assisted Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in the Palestinian territories.


Death

Qasem Soleimani was killed by the American Military Force under the direction of President Donald Trump. On January 3, 2020, the Pentagon confirmed the US military killed General Qassem Soleimani near Baghdad International Airport by missiles shot from American drones targeted his convoy.

In personal life, Qasem Soleimani is a married man but his wife’s name did not know. He has four children two daughters and two sons-Mohammadreza Soleimani and Zeinab Soleimani.
