Tamannaah Bhatia (known as Tamannaah) is an Indian film actress who predominantly appears in Telugu and Tamil films and also appeared in Bollywood films. In addition to acting, she also participates in stage shows and a well-known endorser for brands and products.

Tamannaah Bhatia was born on 21 December 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to father, Santhosh, a diamond merchant and mother, Rajani Bhatia. She has an elder brother named Anand. She did her schooling in SJR high School, Mumbai. She used to participate in the different cultural program during her schooling. She attended at Prithvi Theatre for a year.

Tamannaah Bhatia made her acting debut at the age of 15 in the Hindi film, Chand Sa Roshan Chehra in 2005. The film was a commercial failure at the box office. In the same year, she made her Telugu debut with the movie Sri. In 2006, she appeared in her first Tamil movie, Kedi. The next year, she starred in two drama films, Happy Days in Telugu and Kalloori in Tamil.

Her performances in Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam (2009) and Kanden Kadhalai (2009) earned her nominations in the Best Actress - Telugu and Best Actress - Tamil categories at the 57th Filmfare Awards South ceremony. A series of commercially successful films helped her establish a career in south Indian cinema. Tamannaah acted many commercial successful film include Kanden Kadhalai, Paiyaa, 100% Love, Racha, Baahubali: The Beginning, Dharma Durai, Devi etc.

Tamannaah has also appearing in various television commercials. She is endorsing popular brands like Celkon Mobiles, Fanta and Chandrika Ayurvedic soap. She is also the brand ambassador of AVR and Khazana Jewellery.
